Had a nice gouge taken out of my balllast night and it's right under my index finger and when I release the ball, it catches my palm. I talked to the shop guy and he said, we can sand it down, that's about it.
Any suggestions on how to remedy this other than further defacing the balll??
Thanks.

You could try filling it with a bit of superglue then smoothing it out with some sandpaper. If you do this be careful to not use too much glue just use a drop or two then if you need a little more use a third drop. try to keep it from running dowm the side of the ball.

Just have them repair it with a little clear plug. It's not in the track and won't affect the performance at all.
