Need advice for a control drilling
« on: September 18, 2005, 09:28:57 AM »
Lately I've been struggling during my third games (during league) when the lanes break down. I'm planning on purchasing a Brunswick Rampage (pearl reactive) for this problem, although I haven't decided how to drill it. Would like to hear your thoughts. I am a high tracker, Stroker, medium ball speed and rev rate. I believe my PAP is about 4 1/2"...

I doubt you s*ck Mr Bass.  I bet you have a hard time when you move deeper inside?  A more versatile release would allow you better carry inside with more tilt.

  • Don't blame the lanes, blame the bowler! Adjust!

I have a high track and my punisher is the ball I go to when the lanes are drying up.It's a control ball but it still hit very hard. My punisher is drilled pin next to ring finger i inch still in strong position. Very good ball

A drilling that I've had some success with is a 1" pin with pin and CG each 1" from PAP.  Sort of a triangluar arrangement with pin stacked above CG.

Got any good ideas, anyone?
