What is the next step down in size from a 29/32 drill bit. It was suggested to me to go one step down in size when having my thumb drilled but stupid me has forgotten what size it was.Can anyone help me out on this?

I think it's 57/64 if they have 1/64 in increments...

57/64's if you have such increments.  Otherwise, 7/8.
