Title: Has it been thought of or done? 3 piece exacticator switch grip.
Post by: REvans284 on December 13, 2007, 05:51:29 AM
Hey guys,

I was thinking last night, wouldnt it be nice to make a thumb mold in the form of a switch grip so you could make duplicates of your favorite thumb hole for the inner switch grip sleeve?

I think it would be cool to have a set of inner and outer switch grip slugs that would allow for an 1 1/8 hole to be drilled in the inner slug and then an exacticator thumb slug inserted into that so you could have true duplicate inner slugs made for the switch grip system.  I may be going overboard with it a bit, because I'm sure you could fit a regular inner slug pretty close to another one, but it was just a thought I had and I've never heard of it being done before. Has this been done?

Later,

We did it once, friend put his copy thumb mold into a blank switch grip inner. it was a difficult fit but it worked.

You should be able to do it. Turbo sells the inners with slug or without.
