Title: Help! What should I do?
Post by: agroves on May 27, 2004, 12:58:56 PM
Please see profile for specs, as well as current equipment.

I don't have anything drilled with the pin more than 5 inches from my axis point.  I was considering picking up a power groove b/c they are cheap.  I want something that doesn't flare a ton but still has some hitting power.  However, I have another werewolf in my basement.  If I drilled it with the pin 6 inches from my axis, taking the flare out of play, could I get by with it on drier lanes?  My proshop guy thinks so, any opinions?

You should be able to get by with it. Just make sure you keep the surface nice and polished. Try Controll-It, Storm's Diamond Gloss, or Track's Delayed Reaction.
