Ok, first off just let me say that i'm not only new to this site, but to the bowling thing in general. So any help you could offer would be more than greatly appreciated.
So i got this new Hammer Blade Pearl. I believe it said that it was a 2 3/4" (at least that's what it said on the box) I'm assuming that's the top weight, but i'm not sure. Anyhow, i'm pretty much a hard core cranker, and i like to throw it hard on top of that. Well the ball came with a solid white dot on it (the pin?) and another smaller circle (i have no idea what this is) Well this is my first ball, and i had a friend recommend it to me, because of my style of bowling.
Anyhow, i've been play with the ball for three weeks now, and i'm having a hard time getting it to go where i want it too. Here's my best description of the lay out.
the little circle is right in the middle of my thumb and fingers (not really under either the 3rd or 4th finger) And the white dot is about one inch to the right of the hole for my 4th finger. oh yeah, and i'm right handed, and the ball is finger tip drilled.
I could really use some help with this, because i have a real problem with the ball breaking late, but to hard to get even close to the head pin (i usually get the 4, or 7 pin)
Anyhow any help would be great, Thanks!
P.S. i realize that i really can't blame the proshop guy, since i'm so new at this, but i just haven't had any good games at all lately, and i am seriously wondering if i need to have the ball re-drilled.
