Let me just state that i am newer to the proshop business but i do know quite a bit. I have done drills for full rollers but today I couldnt seem to decide what to do.
Im taking the guys PAP and I realize his ball is drilled full roller. He tracked over the thumb with the drill on the ball which was a turbo diesel. Then i ask him if he has another ball to throw and he does. Its an older PC2 hammer drilled roughly 3 3/8 pin next to ring finger. Once he threw this ball he tracked over thumb still but much less the the full roller drill. His son used to work in a proshop and he thinks his dad is full roller. If he tracked over thumb on both balls which should i do? A regular drill or a full roller layout? Im leaning to a regular drill but im unsure! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another aspect to look at is when each ball is hitting the thumb. For example, a full roller with a layout for a 3/4 roller will flare into the thumb hole. A high 3/4 roller with the same layout may start out on the thumb hole and then flare away from it. -- JohnP
