Ok I know I don't have a profile up yet as its 5 Am and just getting home from work. Heres the problem I ran into last night. I was measuring all my Equipment so that I could make that complete profile so when I had a question I wouldn't have to type all the info.
What I ran into last night just pissed me off a bit and I am looking for a bit of help to layout the drillings so I can start to drill them myself. I found that not 1 of my spans are the same up to 1/4 in. difference. After reading alot from the drilling sites and getting a bit more knowledge of the layouts I found that the layouts on my Equipment are not what I asked for in the first place and hence why 1 of my balls hasn't been getting used.
For the Moment I will only list the 1 ball that is bugging me the most and get the rest in the profile.
All my Equipment is Columbia
I am a average rev 15mph player
I can slow it down and turn the ball more if needed but have trouble with Higher speeds due to shoudler surgery.
Track Diameter is 9.5-11 in. bowtie is 2-3 inches above fingers
PAP is 5 1/4--> 3/4^
Arsenal suppose to be: ALL 14 lb.
Heavy/medium heavy---Action 3.5 in. pin (will not work on heavy at all)
Med. Heavy/medium----U-Turn Pearl 3 in. pin (to rolly no breakpoint reaction)
Med./Med. light---Super Trooper 3 in. pin (Dulled the cover works ok and decent carry)
light/dry--- Scout/r 2 in. pin (good shape weak hit old 13lb better)
The first One is the U-Turn right now its laid out 3 3/8 x 1 1/2
If I read columbia's drill pattern sheet right that lay out is for med. length roll.
I want this ball for a more skid snap reaction on medium to medium heavy lane conditions. Most houses and Tourneys around here use between a 39-44ft shot. Most common 41ft.
Would a 4x4 layout be a good layout for this?
I appreicate all the help
