Hey I would like some help on choosing a drilling for my Cobalt.
It's a 14# with a 2-3 inch pin & 3 oz top weight.
My PAP is 5 3/8 and 5/16 over, LEFTY. Usually I play standing on 25 (right side) opening up to 7-10 depending. Medium-high revs, pretty high speed, not Robert Smith like but pretty fast.
My THS is about a 38 ft pattern, dry from 6 to 6, and a pretty heavy amount of oil in the middle.
I'm looking to get the ball to go pretty long and make a rather sharp right turn. Planing on sanding the AI for oil, OI for medium, and the Cobalt for medium-light.
Any input will be welcome. Thanks

a_j316,
I don't think there are many FOS members here right now, you might want to try over at www.bowlingballexchange.com
I know there are a TON of FOS members there and most are VERY drilling knowledgeable... Give it a shot. I am not that drilling savy or I'd help you...
Sorry

a-j, ask this in the Lane 1 forum and you'll get plenty of help I'm sure. I would go with a slight CG out layout, nothing too fancy pretty much around the label pin under fingers. =:^D

I would go with a pin above the fingers. Place your pin like 5.5" from your pap and kick the cg out some. This should give you nice length and a big back end move.
Just like the other guy said you will probably get more reply's in the Lane 1 forum.
