Specs: balls speed above average
Revolutions above average
PAP: 4" X 1/2" up
Passion Specs: 16lbs 2" pin 3.90 ozs top weight
BACKGROUND INFO: I have the original Paradigm drilled 4 X 4 2 1/2" buffer. Put the pin above an next to ring cg an RAD in line with big axis. Love the ball an reaction!!
DESIRED REACTION:
I would like the Passion for Very Heavy Oil with a good finish on the backend.
My THOUGHTS: Same drill pattern as the original only problem is that the cg location would almost be above my fingers (i know cg doesnt matter but i will be taking a ton of finger weight out).
Let me know if you have any different layout or pin buffer area that would work with my odd PAP and the reaction i am looking for. ANY help is appreciated!!
Thanks TJ

Coach -- You like the reaction from the 4 x 4 layout, so I'd stick with it. Drill the thumb hole as shallow as possible, then weigh the ball after drilling the finger holes. You'll probably have about 2 oz of finger weight. Then you have the choice of taking the excess weight out by use of a balance hole or by drilling the finger holes deeper. -- JohnP

Thanks guys,
I was thinkin more on the lines of the 4 X 4 drill pattern, I just dont like the cg being that high an i was worried that it would be too much finger weight.

Keep the 4 x 4 but use a longer pin buffer. This willkeep the pin lower and in turn keep the cg down. This will also help the ball start up quicker in heavier oil.
