I have a Bandit that has been giving me fits for the longest time. I roll the ball at 15mph between stroker and tweener. I am constantly leaving single pins with one and getting frustrated with it. It is drilled pin up over ring finger about 1 1/2" and at aprx 1:00. The CG is directly below it placed about where the fingers join the hand not the palm. There is a small balance hole at about 3:30 and around 3 1/2" from the thumb. I had a extra hole that was around 2:00 from the thumb then had it moved because I was always leaving single pins there. It is like the ball loses all energy when hitting pins, I have tried changing the cover stock with and without polish and changing grit texure no help there either. Think I need to move pin any suggestions?

What kinds of conditions do you face with the Bandit? Also, what surfaces have you tried so far?
One thing that can help us with giving you layout ideas is if you can possibly post a picture of the Bandit you're using. Thanks

Its probably not the drilling...its probably a bad matchup for the lanes youre bowling on. My crossroad is terrible on synthetics, but killer on wood...my outlaw is the opposite. So...with my shot in the dark...
What types of conditions are u bowling on? Lane surface as well?

Billdozer- good example of another possibility. That reminds me of how my Infinite Theory is. It was a little over/under on Brunswick Anvilane but was absolutely a killer on US Bowling FastLane (the same synthetics used at the Kegel Training Center, the 2009 King of Bowling and in the Manufacturer's Cup the last 2 summers). That was without changing the ball surface.
Yes, there actually is a place around here that doesn't use AMF or Brunswick.
Sometimes it can be a combination of layout, lane surface and ball surfaces. Or just one of those.

I mostly bowl on wooden lanes that have guardian overlay, however I am experiencing this same problem on synthetics. The shot is usually 38' THS but with a 20' reverse oil. I try to use the Bandit after the lanes break down and my Cell or Energy are a bit too strong. The entry into pocket looks good but seems there is nothing there.

That looks like a very strong drilling. I'm guessing you're getting a lot of over/under. I'd move the pin between the fingers, ( increase the pin to pap) and open up the VAl angle. Just my two cents. :D
