Title: Holtzman Scale
Post by: skwira001 on February 24, 2015, 01:28:05 PM
I have a Holtzman scale listed at http://www.ebay.com/itm/111606900401?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649

For those of you with KMT, this might be a great investment.  I've decided I'm not going to drill any balls myself.

This is a little pricier than buying the dodo scale attachment, but ease of use is what you get out of this.  Also if you have a pro shop, this will save you time balancing a scale.

The only thing I don't really understand about this device is that there are 2 switches on the back I do not know what they are for.  I tested this and it turns on fine.

I got a bathroom scale that does the same thing and will tell you the BMI of the ball too !!

Watch this video.  While the scale itself is probably not original, the stuff that's underneath and the arm above the scale is what make this product better.  It measures static weights.

How well does this compensate, if at all, for variation in ball diameter?

I would put a comment on the link for the video I gave above and ask that question.
