How do you determine proper thumb pitch ,finger tip grip right handed.

Its based mostly off of the span of the hand, as well as the flexibility the bowler has in their hand.

There is the general rule of thumb (HA)
some adjustments are made for the typical dryness/dampness of the their skin.
but there is the starting guideline....

There are numerous "tests", as apocalyptic_rabbit referenced. But there's nothing better than a competent driller that will watch you bowl, "read" your hand, and make his recommendations based on his/her experience. -- JohnP
