how do you find the Mass Bias?

all the sites talk about MB, but i have yet to find out exactly how to locate it without the MB being stamped on the ball previously by the manufacturer...

If there is no marked mass bias and you have a pin out ball, you measure 6 3/4" from the pin through the c.g.  That will give you an approximate location.

If the ball has no measurable MB diff, then there is no real need to find it.

Measuring from the pin 6.75" through the CG will get you close, but the only way to find the true MB if not marked is with a Determinator.

Why would you guys say it doesn't matter if it isn't pre marked, every ball has a Preferred Spin Axis (PSA) / Mass Bias regardless if it is asymmetrical or symmetrical.

well, i ask because i have been reading alot about layouts the past few days, and the degree system seems intriguing. i wanted a good idea of finding the MB since all the drillings with degree layouts require it.

also, reading up on how the MB affects a balls reaction and degree of reaction piqued my curiousity... i am laying out a Hybrid Dirty Bomb and i want to see if i can locate the MB to achieve what i want.
