Rico for High Tracker?
« on: September 30, 2008, 10:00:39 AM »
I have a PAP (last time I had it checked) of 5 5/8 over, 3/4 up.

I have been wanting to try the Rico drill. I hear there is a modified one for high tracker. Anyvbody want to share how it is laid out differently.

Will the rico drill put to much roll in an already rolly- high hook type release, otherwise making the ball puke on me?

Just make sure that you put the pin up 3/4 from center of span using the vertical measurement of you pap. I use to be 5-5/8 over and 7/8 up. I did a RICO with a Lane Master Sting. It was ok.

I was wondering the same thing.  I have a friend of mine who has an Overtime drilled pin below ring finger (5 inch pin at PAP for me).  Everytime I throw it, the flare rings start at the ring finger.  The only way I can get an early roll, arc type backend, is pin at 2 inches with the cg at or near center of grip and no weight hole.  It seems to work for me though I am still curious about a RICO layout.
