How thin is too thin on the bridge of a fingertip NO insert grip

Worried about cracking occuring in the bridge, it looks a bit narrow.  Looks to be about 1/4 of an inch.  again no inserts in the tips, if that matters.

Storm XXX drilled up, fits great, just more a general question, to take precautions.

Yup...all the manufactures that I know about want a 1/4" bridge.

But to answer your question I have a customer that insists on a 3/16" bridge...so we drill it for him, but explain that it's at his risk and not ours.

saelee -- 1/4 inch should be fine.  The other thing to watch for is the distance between any hole and the pin.  I've seen several balls crack out between a finger hole and a pin closer than about 1/2 inch.  Some ball manufacturers will not honor a warranty on a ball that has a pin closer than 1 inch to a hole.  Then they give us layouts that require drilling close to the pin, and the customer wonders why I don't want to drill it that way!  --  JohnP
