Dual Angle Angles???

Hey all,
 
I was wondering if anyone has a chart or some sort of reference to indicate what the various angle combinations will do in regards to reaction of a bowling ball. To add:  what happens if the initial angle is greater than the second angle, and vise versa.  Also, what smaller angles do vs. larger angles.  Just trying to learn more about this philosophy of laying out a ball.

Who needs a 300 or 800, when I have a 294 and a 295!?!?!

That should explain everything. A ball reaction has 3 phases. Skid, hook, roll. The first number controls when the ball starts the hook phase. The lower the number the sooner it will transition from skid to hook. The second number controls flare. That last number controls how long the hook phase lasts until the ball gets into a roll. The higher the number the longer this transition takes. Dual angle is actually the easiest way to lay out a ball and predict the reaction you will get.

Thanks.  I have read this resource before, but was trying to see if there were anymore specifics out there that I have missed.  The good news is I understand the concept and use it to layout balls.  That's the most important part. 

Who needs a 300 or 800, when I have a 294 and a 295!?!?!

Thanks a million Gazoo.  There is a lot to sort through on there, but I think that is a lot of the information that I am looking for.
