How to get Rid of Side weight?
« on: January 21, 2009, 04:50:31 AM »
Just wondering i got a Twisted fury destruction and it looks like this
    o      pin

    x      cg

       mb  mass bias
With this and me being a lefty when i lay it out the cg is far to far over and gives me to much side weight. I'm looking to drill it 65-4 3/4-30 a nice skid snap well the most skid snap u going to get out of Brunswick. Also my driller says i have a pap of 6 1/2 inches is that even possible that is huge? So pretty much what im asking is how would i get rid of excess side weight my best guess was to put a weight hole on my pap but then again that is just me guessing, any real help would be nice.

A 6 1/2" PAP is possible, but unusual unless you're a full roller - ask your driller if you are (a full roller's track is between the thumb and finger holes and requires a special layout).  Also, a full roller would have a fairly high up component to the PAP.  Your driller will know where to locate the balance hole, if he doesn't find another driller.  --  JohnP
