This post is based on curiosity.   I understand that a full roller tracks between the fingers and thumb?  What does a full roller drill layout do for a full roller?

Im not a full roller but after looking at some drill sheets I came across a layout for a full roller that shows the pin really low and left of the thumb.  Why can't a full roller use a normal layout?
