i need something like this
« on: June 22, 2008, 01:08:43 AM »
i need more control on my balls, im bowling on a short pattern with carry down most of the time, so i need to stay in the pocket.

i found out that im better when i bowl with a ball that moves little, very smooth off the dry, predictability and hardhitting is what im looking for.

i have an equation, cg in palm ping high above fingers(maybe about 5 inches) with a x hole near axis (near cuz i havent checked my pap for a while)

since the equation is 16 lbs and its not a comfortable fit, with the ball crackin and all the stuff, im lookin to drill another one.

what do i need? im i looking for a low RG and low diff? so its very rolly but smooth when it hits the dry

should i still put the pin 5 inches from pap and xhole in the axis?

When a house bowler misses the mark, misses the break point and strike, for many ppl its called a wallshot. When a pro does that its call adjustment

When a house bowler gets his finger stuck in the ball and fall on the lanes, for many ppl its called lame bowler. When a pro does that its called the Machuga flop! ha i like this one.

Been away most of the day and just saw this.

My opinion is that a Jolt Solid could work, depending your release, how much oil there is and how you drill it.  It is a fairly smooth ball, if not used on too much oil. I'd still use a control drill, like a 2x5 or a 5x2, with not a high pin position.

Plus any of these polished balls, if they give too snappy a reaction, can always have the polish knocked off, by hand, with a Scotch Brite nylon pad.
