Last night I got my Dirty Look drilled, before the guy drilled it he measured my PAP off of my C System 2.5 4 over 3/4 up. He then drilled the DL accordingly. He also stated that my PAP if measured on another ball would probably be different. So does this mean that everyone should have a reference ball in their arsenal that they build off of?

I've always heard you use a plastic ball to find your PAP. That way, your oil ring(s) are easier to see and the driller doesn't accidentally use the wrong oil ring to figure your axis point. If he used a reactive ball, there's always a chance that your PAP was measured incorrectly.

Actually IMO you should use the PAP from a ball with a similar core in it to find your pap. As the core gets stronger your PAP will usually get closer to the center of your grip....you want the layout to be for the ball you are drilling not for a plastic ball.....
