I found a used 607A online for pretty cheap, and throwing mainly Track equipment i figured i would pick it up.
Problem is its drilled for a LH, i included pictures of the layout so you can see it.
Ill have to put new inserts in to use it, im wondering if i should even bother?
I dont have the money to get it plugged and redrilled, so thats not an option.
Is the layout useable for me, if so whats the ball going to react like?
I dont know my PAP but i could take a picture of my other layouts if needed.
Thank you

If the span fits you, and it's comfortable go ahead and throw it as is. No such thing as a ball drilled for a lefty! LOL!
I have a Track 930 given to me by a left-hander. Perfect span match for me, and I never re-drilled it. Ball just goes a little longer than normal with a hard snap on the back. Love it!

Im more worried about the physics that go on in the core, i didnt know if a flipped/mirrored layout would make the ball useless/ineffective.
Thats what im asking about

Give it a shot. Thats the only way you will find out. I once had a ball from a lefty that felt similar to my grip, once I switched the inserts, the ball fit great and I rolled several 270+ games with it!
-
Alright cool thanks guys.
I have a league tomorrow ill go switch the inserts and see what happens.

With the mass bias reversed it is different from a symmetric drilled on the other side.

You're probably going to roll over the balance hole. Use only a couple of drops of glue on the grips and you will easily be able to pull them to use in another ball if you don't like the roll or reaction. -- JohnP

Be mindful on hand pain. If the middle finger span is too long, it may cause some issues. If the span is alright; should be OK to throw. Not sure on your axis, but may be a 100 to 140 deg drill angle... should be very smooth reacting... like John said...listen for the thumping weight hole. This could kill reaction too. Let us know how it rolls!
-
This ball has a milder asymmetric core strength of .007 and shouldn't
Roll to bad,but I agree with weight hole.
-
I drilled two of my balls with negative PSA . Great reactions. Go long and move hard

The ball is drilled for a lefty. The ball is round so it will still roll for you. If it didn't have an x-hole in it I would still consider it worth messing with. Since the chances of you rolling over the xhole are high and the ball has already had some plug work I would suggest giving it to a lefty or leaving it on the rack or garbage ect.

I'm assuming the thumb hole fits since you only mentioned changing the grips. If you don't want to spring for a set of grips, pull them and throw it using the pilot holes. That will at least give you an idea if it will roll OK for you. -- JohnP

If it were me I'd plug the x hole and buy finger plugs they are cheap
-
The main problem could be the pitches in the thumb hole. They will probably be the opposite of what you are used to as far as left/right goes. If you don't develop problems with the thumb, why not try the ball?
-
Since you already have the ball, why not try it?
I drilled a 920T very similar and it didn't flare very much. Was good for drier conditions.

Well, i went to my pro shop and he said im pretty much stuck with plugging/redrilling it.
The span is a little shorter than i usually throw anyway, so i think ill just stick in my locker until i have the money to redrill it.
He said i was probably gonna roll over the balance hole, but next time i practice i think ill just throw a shot or two, curious if i will roll over it.
