Help finding a pro around Snellville, GA
« on: April 15, 2008, 01:29:14 AM »
I moved to good ol' Snellville, Georgia about a month ago (home of Diana DiGarmo and "Where Everybody is Somebody.")

I have 5 NIB balls that I need to get drilled up along with 12 used balls that I need to get filled and re-drilled.

I asked for a suggestion for some good pros in this area a couple of months ago and a few people were kind enough to respond.  I printed out those responses, but I lost them in the move (of course).

I would be very grateful to anyone who lives in the area for suggestions on a good, reasonable pro.

Thanks again for all your help,

Lefty

The best one in this area is Richard Shockley at Ten Strike Pro Shop and Bowling Academy, 479 Brightwell Court, Loganville, GA 30052.  Phone number is
770-542-0026.  Not only is Richard an IBPSIA Certified Pro Shop Operator, he is also a USBC Gold Level coach, and is considered one of the best in the country.  Previously he coached at the Kegel Training Center in Florida.

I was wondering when the move was gonna be completed.... anyway, the info I sent before is as follows:
Pro Strike Bowling Supply - Griffin Hale, owner
P.O. Box 1826... Tucker, GA 30085... inside Atlanta Fun Center ... (770)938-6637
... 1741 Mountain Industrial Blvd. Stone Mountain, GA 30083
Griff has been drilling forever, and knows his stuff. He has drilled all my stuff, except for a few by Billy Rohde who worked for him a while back, for 4 or 5 years.... probably 20+ balls, EXCELLENT work, reasonable rates!

Precision Pro Shop doesn't own the shop in Brunswick Lilburn anymore, Titus Harris has moved to Conyers and runs the shop out there now.  He and Shockley are without a doubt the best in the area hands down.  Shockley worked with the best in the world at Kegel for years and is the best instructor I know of.  Titus is the best in the area with ball motion in my opinion.
