Which of these layouts lowers the RG the most, for a symmetrical ball?

A.  Pin in middle finger

B.  Pin in ring finger

C.  Pin 1/4 inch below center of bridge

Thanks.

D. none of the above.. Diff will be the same no matter...  If you want to reduce RG then put the pin closer to your PaP..

Thanks. Sorry, I used the wrong noun (brain freeze).  I meant RG.
I have revised the question.

I believe the closer to the PAP the pin is, the lower the drilled RG will be.

 It depends.

If your vertical axis coordinate is down, then it could be the one below the bridge.  If not, then it could be the one in the ring finger

To lower the RG of a ball you are drilling, simply move the pin towards the axis point. Just remember that the pin to axis distance also has an influence on the amount of flare that will be created as well.

Doesn't reducing the VAL angle also lower the RG and increase the differential? That is the impression I got recently when reading an article on dual angle drilling.

If the holes are the same size the pins in the fingers should be the same, you're drilling out the same part of the core.  Under the bridge should lower it less unless there's a hunk of mass bias in that direction, which there shouldn't be in a symmetrical core.  As stated by others though, moving the pin closer to the PAP should have a much more noticable affect on lowering RG.

B would most likely be closer to his PaP :)

OK. Thanks everyone. I understand that moving the pin close to the PAP will lower the RG the most.  It was stated in this thread that doing so will also increase flare.  So I take it those two go hand-in-hand and that there is no way to lower RG without increasing track flare?

Track flare is determined by pin-to-PAP distance, with 3 3/8" away from PAP maximizing flare.  If you go closer or farther away than 3 3/8" it should reduce track flare to some degree.
