Title: Is Easy Strike epoxy and urethane ball plug any good?
Post by: leftyinsnellville on November 29, 2010, 11:12:04 PM
I picked up 2 gallons of epoxy ball filler and 1 gallon of urethane plug from a company called Easy Strike.  Anybody ever give these a try?  Any good?

I tried both, very limited (1 or 2 times) but both worked fine. The epoxy seems better. The urethane seems just like thumb slugs. By the way their slugs are excellect and a lot cheaper then other brands.

I think the urethane is intended to be used for thumb slugs...at least that was my understanding.  The liquid urethane intrigued me because I can drill a smaller hole with the correct pitches and then fill it with the urethane...I think it will be an overall better look and feel.

Yes, I have used both.  The urethane is great for making slugs inside of the ball.   You just drill the size hole you want and fill it with the urethane mix and you now have a slug in the ball!   It''s great for any size hole.

The clear epoxy is for ball plugging and works very well and takes colors well.

I also use the slugs, and they are excellent.
