Drilling With A MB?
« on: October 27, 2004, 04:48:42 PM »
Ok symmtrical I have down below par but I need some clarifcation with asymmetrical drillings, the way I see it is this;

If the MB is to the left of the grip it produces a weaker breakpoint, if its to the right it produces a stronger breakpoint, If this is so would this layout be weak?

..........*
........O O

....CG

.........O
MB

If Im totally wrong, which I think I maybe, could someone explain it to me...

I don't know if this is true for all companies and all mass biased cores, but at the Days of Thunder seminar by Storm, they said to ensure the RAD mass bias is at least two inches from the track of the bowler, so that might be something to consider as well, but if you are right handed, yes, that would cause the ball to go longer I believe.
