If I could, I'd drill all my own stuff. Is there a place to go and learn this skill or is it just passed on from one person to another?

offers courses now and again.

Kegel has classes.
Call Jayhawk Bowling Supply, I think they also offer seminars on ball drilling, and they are close to you.
