I just received my new Cobalt. It looks like the pin is almost right on top of the label which I think is the CG. I am not very technical so I am going to try and draw what it looks like. Pin is very close to the label that says Lane 1 Ball is supposed to be a 2-3" pin.

Anyone, I am not sure if I got what I ordered.

It is only a problem if you wanted a longer pin out for a particular drilling. It sounds like you may have gotten a pin in ball. See if there is a small indent like a dimple somewhere near the label. If there is, then the distance between the pin & dimple is the pin out distance. If it is 1" or less, I would recommend a simple label drill with the pin at 1:30 or 2 o'clock position. The nature of the ball is to go long anyway so you shouldn't really have a problem.

Sawuser, thanks for the help. There is a dimple and it is on the right hand side the the label and 2" from the center of the pin. Does this mean a 2" pin out?

Sounds like it. The little diamond picture is best to give you an orientation of where to look for the CG, which, since it's a Brunswick-made ball, is typically a little punch mark. Since the punch is usually close to the far tip of the diamond, a 2" pin length would put the pin pretty much at the opposite tip.
A 2" pin length isn't usually considered pin-in, so you should have the usual wide array of drilling options.

Thanks Shelley, trying to learn the lingo. Everyone on this site has been great with the help.
