Title: Is this Legal??

Can a small hole be placed in the PAP to be able to watch the reaction of the ball as it travels down the lane.  I know that it is illegal to have a piece of tape on the ball when bowling in league.  Someone in league says that a hole 1/8" in diameter is legal.  Does anybody know if this is true?

I doubt that you would be able to even see the hole if it was 1/8. Other than that some weight holes are put on your pap anyways. And going off your point i wonder if you could drill out a hole on your pap and plug it with a contrasting color so you could see it while the ball is going down the lane.
