I fully realize what I am about to suggest may sound silly, but wondering if it may actually be viable. Please don't laugh...
PAP is an easy thing to find in theory. There are multiple options. In various scenarios I use the oil ring philosophy, the tape philosophy, I've had other people check and tell me what they believe, etc.
So far, while taking a lesson, I was told it is 5 x 1-1/2 up on video. I measure it to be 4.75 x 3/4 up by watching tape manually. Pro shop #1 says 5-1/8 x 1-1/8 up, and pro shop #2 says 4 x 3/4 up according to the oil rings. Whatever it is, I've got it covered....
I have downloaded slow-motion software, I have a tripod to hold my tablet, and am going to try measuring it again this weekend. Is it silly or not to put multiple pieces of tape in various locations and watch for the best actual effect using multiple pieces of tape at once? I assume that by placing tape in multiple positions, the video will tell me conclusively which one is closest to the real PAP, instead of measuring 5-6 times... Silly or not?
