Increasing Finger Reverse....Span Adjustment?

Going from 1/4 to 5/8 R in my fingers....do I adjust my span length for this change?

Span probably does't need to change, but maybe some less reverse on your thumb.  Say, you are 3/8 reverse, you may want to go to 1/8 or 1/4 reverse to relax your grip a little.  As already said, it is the bowlers choice.

too short span with large reverse on finger pitch may hurt finger join because this may introduce a bend back of finger after thumb release if your finger is not strong enough to carry the ball,. if adding the reverse is not finger stiff issue but trying to reduce finger lift as the purpose, need to add 1/8 span on every 1/4 reverse add, you can see how the span change by checking the distance change of the thumb hole edge between thumb base edge with insert the fingers only and letting the thumb out of the thumb hole.
