Just wondering if anyone has feedback on either one or both of these setups.  They are obviously competing products.  Is one better than the other?  Anyone with experience on either of these machines please chime in.  I'm just looking to upgrade from an old worn down x y jig on a small press.  Thanks

All drill presses vibrate when cutting down plug. The features of the SJ-2000 jig allow use of a plug cutter, milling of oval holes to 1/1000 of an inch and laser technology for under $1700 delivered to your door. That is a lot of features for that price range.

This is the best drill press and jig on the market at that price point!!!

A mill is a much better way to go if your budget allows.

Are you saying this setup is capable of drilling accurate oval thumb holes?  I thought only a mill was capable of this.  Would the Jayhawk mini mill be capable of ovals as well then?

I have a mini-mill jig on my old Rockwell press, it does a decent job of drilling oval holes, even with the old worn out press.
