Title: Just a curious thought
Post by: TheBowlingKid25 on June 26, 2004, 09:19:23 PM
If a ball is drill pin over bridge, with the cg straight below in the palm, is that an ambedexterus (i butchered the spelling) ball? Could a righty or lefty throw it, if the span was the same to both finger holes?

Um, yup, that's an ambi drilling.  It's even ok if the cg is kicked a little one side or the other.

No, really, I like you.  Now, by all means, feel free to go fornicate yourself with a sharp object.

Ambidextrous is the correct spelling.
And, yes it is.

And, No, both sides cannot throw it, unless one of those sides has a VERY strange thumb alignment. SO, Unless both the lefty and righty can use a 0" left or right pitch PLUS whatever the back/reverse thumb pitch is, they cannot use it.
