In search of a new blade...
« on: August 13, 2007, 07:20:55 AM »
I will post this in a couple of places in case someone might have some information for me...

I am searching for a replacement blade in a tool I use to shave down ball plug material.  I purchased this device about 6 years ago from some guys in New York or New Jersey.  It basically has two sides which fit the contour of the ball and an adjustable blade in the middle.  It is very useful in getting the plug smooth and round.

My problem is that my blade is about wore out and I have not found or seen anything that would act as a suitable replacement.  So, does anyone know what I'm talking about?  If so, do you know where I can get a replacement blade for this device?  Or, do you know the designers and how to contact them and I will follow up on my own.

Thanks for your help.  Scott

The device is called an Ultimate Scraper, and I too bought one and would like to find out if blades are still available.A great tool for a shop that has to use a router{drill,no mill}.I can't find the phone number of the place I purchased it from,it was somewhere in New York.

Cool sounding tool, if you find the place or know where they sell them, I'd be interested in seeing one, probably getting one as well.

Thanks
