Hi, it seems to me that high pins above the fingers with a large drill angle would place the MB far into the track for RH players. Is this right? I don't see too many people using angles larger than 55 degrees, and was just curious about it. Personally, my axis is about 3.75" over and 1.25" up. For pin downs, 90 degree drilling angles would place the MB almost in line with the thumb. But for any pin higher than the fingers, the MB would be very far left. Question is, would placing the MB that far left, even though its within the 90 degree max recommended by Mo, still roll alright? Anyone try something like that?
I'm about to drill my second LevRG, and the first one is drilled about 40x3.75x50, and rolls very strong. I want the second to be a longer, higher pin, with maybe a larger drill angle to help it downlane. But for my axis, and desired pin height, it seems the max drill angle I could use would be 55-60 before getting into the negative side of the thumb. Again, any thoughts?
