Expiramental Layout

Just out of interest what kind of reaction would a ball have with the pin on the negative axis point?  I realize it will be rather straight and will likely invert the track, but will it be more arc shaped or skid flip?  The ball in question is a T Road Pearl for a high speed high rev player with minimal tilt and extreme over under conditions.

Arced.  If the pin is on the NAP, the anti-pin is on the PAP, so it would be similar to pin on PAP.  The result should be very little, if any, flare.

There are 3 points on a bowling ball that would be considered stable points....the positive axis point, the negative axis point and the track. Placing masses (or the pin) close or in these points, minimizes or limits track flare potential. Pin placements close to the positive or negative axis points will create an earlier smoother overall reaction. Pins closer to the track tend to create more length.
Placing a pin on the negative side of the track, is what is generally used to control the flare for a full roller. The track will flare towards the pin or in regards to a 3/4 roll, will invert the flare.
