Finger Slugs

Anybody ever use them in place of plugging the fingers?

I have...but in most cases it was a rush job and the customer didn't want to utilize quick plug.  I know of atleast one bowler that has natural finger tips (no grips) and always utilizes finger slug for feel...weird, but he likes it.

I just can't justify spending $100+ for ball plug, when I only need to plug like 3 balls and it's just the fingers anyway. I can slug the differnce in the thumb.

Are finger slugs durable? I would be putting finger inserts back in.

Would glue be able to adhere to the urethane slug for the finger inserts?

How is the Donkee fast plug? I notice they have a mold and plug kit.

Ok, back to my original question:

Are finger slugs durable? I would be putting finger inserts back in.

Would glue be able to adhere to the urethane slug for the finger inserts?

I like the idea of the mold kit and making my own slugs, especially when I start drilling more stuff for my friends and myself.

Urethane finger slugs are just as durable as urethane thumb slugs.  The glue obviously adheres to urethane otherwise you would see slugs coming out of a whole lot of bowling balls.
