Layout for a 2handed, No thumb bowler
« on: January 02, 2019, 08:28:29 AM »
I've been drilling for well over 20yrs, for myself and friends mainly, and never drilled for a 2 handed bowler before. My new brother-in-law is a 2-handed no thumb bowler and asked me to drill his Web i got him with the new layout specs starting next season. It will be his first like this as all his others have a thumb. What is the most basic drilling i can start with to get him started and then i can research more on layouts for him.

I would suggest at least looking at his track before deciding a layout. But usually, a no thumb bowler can do something like pin over ring finger about 2 inches above the hole with the cg under the finger for weight purposes.

inch and a half to the right ans up from ring finger is a pretty safe spot to start with with no thumbers. you can still take his pap though even if there is a thumb there. just measure it from the bridge
