Layout for Shark pattern?

What is the best layout to handle the Shark pattern?

Depends on your style. I like stuff that has a lot of foward roll.

It's also going to change depending on what lane surface you're bowling on, what kind of oil and what volume of oil you see, etc.  Sometimes the Shark will play very slick, but other times the heads will dry up and you'll have lots of oil down lane, which makes things even tougher.

For what it's worth, I have never bowled well on the Shark pattern, so I won't be any help here.

The two typical ways to play it are either with lots of forward roll (and early-rolling layouts) or inside with lots of side roll and very late-breaking equipment (and layouts that promote length and backend).

Which is best?  Depends on you and the lanes you're on.  Guys who are not used to playing deep inside will probably want to go with more rolly equipment and layouts.  And vice versa for the deep inside, skid-snap players.
