I am working to find what drilling works best for me. I recently changed my release a bit and I now have the following specs.
Axis point: 4 3/4" over and 1 3/8" up
Speed: 17 mph
Revs: medium
Axis tilt: 10 degrees
My span is short so quite often I have drillings with the pin above the fingers. My span is 3 25/32 x 3 24/32 cut to cut. Is this normal? Can pin under layouts work for me as well?
What layouts should I consider for length/snap and for control type layouts. I am trying to build a six ball arsenal to compete on PBA regional patterns.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Finding what layouts work for you is a time consuming thing and can be costly. I read a great article in BTM about setting up an arsenal. Well one of the guys view on setting up an arsenal goes like this.
For a 6 ball arsenal use 2 different layouts.
SET 1: A ball for heavy, med and light oil all drilled with a power stacked layout for when more hook and power on the back end is needed.
SET 2: A ball for heavy, med and light oil all drilled with a lable layout for when more control is needed.
