Help / Info
« on: October 03, 2004, 03:17:57 AM »
Hi All,

I have changed the way i release the ball and this has caused a track change from the more conventional 3/4 roll (Track 1-1/2" from fingers and 1/2" from thumb)to the track been 1/2" from finger and 1 - 2" form the thumb depending on the ball

Most of my equipment is drilled pin above fingers with CG slightly towards PAP or straight under the Pin, i am now having trouble getting the balls to flip hard even though i have increased the revs with the new release. Length is ok but only really get backend arc

Is this caused by the track or the way the balls are drilled in relation to the way the track is now rolling, i am thinking of getting a Storm Triple Extreme that i want to drill for max length then flip hard.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Do i need to take note of anything when drilling a ball with this inverted track or do i still go off the PAP

I am a little worried in putting the pin above the finger and kicking the CG out to the right as this would mean the pin / cg are the opposite to the track or does it just matter in relation to the PAP.

Thanks Again
Aussie.

AussieBowler -- Lay the ball out based on the PAP.  As close as you're tracking to the finger holes, it will be very important to keep the pin in the safe zone.  --  JohnP
