Speedy bowler need help !
« on: August 29, 2004, 11:37:55 PM »
Hello to all,
My friend, a bowler with great speed 19 mph and not too much rotation, his axis rotation is about 15-20°, he just buys a Raging Inferno and he has the ball drilled for early roll and maxi hook, after his driller, this ball must hooks, but nothing, the ball go quite strait in oily lanes or in dry lanes !
Please, could you give us the good drilling pattern for bowlers like him ?

Here is the actual drilling :

-------------P
------o—o
----------------cg-
-----------------------X
-------O
The X hole is near Pap and is very large and deep. Pin is 3 3/8 from his PAP and CG-Pin is 13:30.

Thanks to all.

Thanks kotm,
If I understand what you say, the drilling must be like this :

------o—o-
-----------p
--------cg

-------O

Drilling this way, I think that the ball will start to react later and will produce a little more hook when it reaches the dry, am I right?
I do not miss to tell him to tame down a little his speed and work on increasing rotation and rev rate. Once again, thanks
