I currently have a Storm Big Hit Pearl and Storm Barbed Wire that are both drilled negative. I have a lot of hand and the lanes are fairly dry. I am right-handed and the pin is above and to the left of my middle finger.
The pearl hooks more than the Barbed Wire which I though was a bit odd, but apparently the Hit series hook more than advertised.
I can get the ball down the lane with minimal snap, but I have times where the ball hits like a nerf ball. Does having a negative drill pattern take away from the hitting power? Would I get a more even reaction if I just label drilled them?
I am looking for a new ball that I can use on medium to medium/dry lanes. I would appreciate any recommendations on equipment and layouts.
Thanks
Bill

most likely since you have alot of hand, and they are drilled negative, when the lanes are really dry, most of the turn is being done by the coverstock, and is not storing, or its losing alot of energy during the turn. if that makes any sense to you haha.

AM not A CHICK OF BOWLING but I wanted to be in Manda's clique
And why would I "saw" pins in half, THATS A WASTE OF PINS! I'd rather blow it over with my storm, and 21mph ball speed on dry shots.
