I recently picked up a Bounty Hunter pearl from someone here, and I''m looking for layout advice... it has a 3 1/2 inch pin, but the cg is 2 1/2 inches right of the pin/mb line. It''s currently drilled cg in palm with the pin above the ring finger, which puts the mb about 2 1/2 inches right of the thumb.
(pin to mb = 6 1/2 inches). My question is, does the cg being so far left of the pin/mb line limit my options at all? I''m looking for the ball to pick up midlane and arc to the pocket from there. I''m a more down and in player, so I''m not really looking for a skid-snap reaction here. I have better luck with earlier rolling layouts (rico or 4*4 on weaker balls generally work well for me).
So, provided the odd cg placement isn''t going to limit me, does anyone have any suggestions? My PAP is 4 5/8 x 5/8 up, RPM around 275 - 300. Thanks!

As long as you don't mind a large, deep balance hole almost any layout should work. Tell your driller what you have in mind, or what you want the reaction to be if you don't have a specific layout in mind. He can lay it out for you and give you an estimate of what the final static weights will be, which will determine if a balance hole is a necessity and if so, where and what size. -- JohnP
