I have looked everywhere on the Internet for something to help answer this question but really haven't found what I'm looking for. I am wanting to know about different drillings such as a 4x4 or 3x5 or something. I know what the numbers mean but not sure what the difference is going to be in reaction. So, I guess what I am wanting to know is what is going to be the reaction of a 4x4 drilling vs. A 5x5 or a 4x5 and so on..

What he is saying is, those numbers are the distance from one persons positive axis point (PAP) to the pin and their PAP to the marked CG/MB.

However, those terms have all but been eliminated as far as ball drilling goes.  The "new" terminology is drilling angle x pin to pap distance x VAL angle(something like 60 x 3 x 30).  Some companies, storm/roto, are using measurements from the val, like 1" or 3".  The smaller the measurement, the smaller the VAL angle.

I believe a rico drill pattern will actually fall outside the parameters of the dual angle technique. Mostly because with the dual angle it is impossible to come up angles and a pin distance that far from your PAP to get the pin that low. Most people need a 60 or 70 degree angle to the val just to get the pin down at all using this system. Makes me wonder however what it would actually be and will be something I will be checking with-in the next hour to see how wacky the angles are.
