CG placement on symmetrical equipment

Ok, so say I was drilling a symmetrical ball pin up.   Where would I need to put the cg to make the weight block transition slower?  Left, right or stacked?  I am looking to get length with a slower predictable move off the dry.

If you want a smooth reaction off the dry you need to worry more about the balls cover and the position of the pin.

Where you put the CG has very, very little relevance in ball reaction.

I understand that the coverstock has way more to do with the reaction but I was just curious if you had identical balls, 1 with cg swung left, 1 with the cg stacked, 1 with the cg swung right.  Which one would transition slower?

Some people believe the position of the CG makes no difference.

For those that do believe it makes a difference, I believe the further you move the CG towards your track (negative side of the grip), up to about 100 degrees or so, the slower the ball will transition. After 110 degrees or thereabouts, the reaction once again becomes more violent.
