Topic discussed many times. There is no such thing as offset thumb, center line transfer, etc. You can only lay out a sphere in one way if you keep all the measurements the same (pitch, span). In order to offset a thumb, you are changing the pitch of the thumb and/or fingers. You can call it whatever you want but all you're doing is changing the pitch in the thumb if you keep the span correct.
