What is the leverage line on a bowling ball?

Hunh? Where have you seen this phrase referenced?
Leverage, as far as I know, is positioning of the pin with respect to the bowler's PAP (axis point) at 3 3/8" distance; that is not placed on any ball.  I'd love to hear if someone has defined this phrase.

IT could be the arc that you can create
by plotting all of the leverage  points
on the ball.
ie you can have leverage above the fingers or
below.  That arc(line) would show these different
location.

Not saying that this is the definition, but I see
something similar in a bowling magizine that I have.

I don't think so.
I think he it actually talking about his VAL
Vertical axis line I read the review and the RAD marking
on the storm balls is the Mass Bias.  IF you are trying to get
strong rolls you put the MB on your VAL.

I would be curious to know if that is what he meant

Got it from Chris at Buddies. Thanks Chris!

Start at your vertical axis line. Measure 3 3/8 back towards your grip and draw a line parallel to your grip line and the vertical axis line and there's your leverage line.

But not every point on that line is 3 3/8" from your PAP!
Livespive's description is more what I would think of as the leverage "arc", where every point on it is a valid "leverage" distance from your PAP. Thus, every point on that arc is a valid pin placement option to maximize the flare potential and other characteristics of the core of the ball.

The leverage line is a good line to place the MB, according to Chris. Turns out I have a TPC Warrior layed out that way. Learned something there.
