Longer span layout question

So I am closing in on the perfect span for my hand, got my pitches close to where I want them and my span is almost set, going to drill a test ball 1/8th longer this week to see how it feels. Currently my span is 5 7/8 middle 5 3/4 ring with me bumping them soon to see how I like it since I still have a bit of room and so far bumping my span 3 weeks ago has provided some better scoring
 
Wondering if spans in the 6" range need any special considerations when drilling either symmetrical or asymmetrical balls. I'm doing well with a 505A drilled stacked pin about 4 inches above my ring finger and 1 1/2 inches to the right of fingers, still experimenting with everything else so I figured I'd ask about this consideration as well now.

That's a big hand! The only thing I can think of would be static weights for legality. When using a pin up drilling, try to get at least a 3-4" pin (preferably longer) so that the fingerweight will be legal without drilling the fingers real deep or using a high balance hole.

Thanks for the input, yes my hand is on the larger size, wrist (beginning of palm at the crease) to finger tip length is 9 1/4" so I have some mitts. My thumb flexibility is crazy, I can lay my thumb against the pad of my palm and get around a 30* angle, my whole hand flexibility is the highest any driller has ever seen in my area.

Yeah your hand sounds like mine 9" using your measuring technique.  I always use 3-4 pin 3 oz tw,

except for when I am doing a ball 315.

 

Let me ask you this, how far are you inserting your thumb?

Thumb is all the way into the pad, I tend to keep most of my whole hand on the ball all the way thru the shot, so my thumb is fully inserted into the ball.

Yeah, if you are using inserts for the fingers 3-4" with 3oz tw should work.

Most of my symetrical balls never needed holes, a few of the asyms did.

What is your thumb reverse measurement.    I can make a 1" difference in span with just the thumb reverse setting????
