haven't a clue????
« on: June 03, 2004, 09:26:36 AM »
I think I am going to buy the Animal. Everyone keeps telling me that the animal will out hook everything out there. I have a major problem though I know nothing about drillings or layouts and my proshop person is clueless. What would you suggest? I need the ball for long heavy oil about 48 ft long. I buy my balls online. what should I get as far as pin placement and top weight? I use a 15lb ball. I am trying to play as close to 20 out to 8 and get it back as possible. It is a sport shot. I know I will not be able to do that but I would like to get as close to it as possible. I hope that someone can help me with these facts so when I go to the proshop I can tell him what I want for once instead of him guessing. I am a right handed tweener who spins the ball slightly and I throw between 15-17mph. Thank you for your help!!

High pin placement with a lower top weight.

For that long of oil i would avoid any stacked drillings, and go towards a 10:00 drill. Maybe punch up a 45º drill, with pin 3 3/8" from pap, or something similar to Axis Leverage.
